umm, I thought the singer Dave quit and the guitarist Matt started a new band, i’m so confused.
apparently they are back together and recording a new album
Yeah, they got back together in May 2007
weird, i just visited their MySpace page an hour ago, wondering about the status of the new album – Feb 08.
I check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Element_Eighty and their new album is currently in progress. Not much info on what label, title, and release date on the page. But Myspace is indeed the best info. to retrieve from. Goodnight Entertainment is their record label + is labeled as ‘major’.
Best to catch them live in order to get the ‘new’ material out, I suppose. Happens all the time.
Sorry, but I live in Edmonton, AB, CANADA. All the dates are in the US right now. If your strength is traveling, then this is your ticket, not mine unfortunately. But I’m patient. Can’t wait to hear the new material when it comes out.
