Current Velvet Revolver Tour To Be Their Last?

During Velvet Revolver’s concert in Glasgow, Scotland on Thursday, March 20th, front-man Scott Weiland reportedly told the sold out crowd, “You’re watching something special… the last tour by Velvet Revolver‘.

Drummer Matt Sorum addressed the issue saying that the band had a little turmoil on stage, but did not mention if the current Velvet Revolver European tour would be their last.

Weiland will rejoin his Stone Temple Pilots band-mates this summer for a handful of festival dates.

Mark my words, VR is done and STP will make a full comeback

I wish they at least released one more album to go out on top. ‘Libertad’ sucked and I wish even if they broke up they’d release one more CD. Kind of like how (I thought) ‘Out of Exile’ was a disappointment and Audioslave went out on top but releasing the great album ‘Revelations.’

Mikel, I agree with you on what I read here. Good point. STP are making a full-swing of things this summer.

It’s all a mix-up with this supergroup thing in the first place. Scott Weiland is like he’s a chameleon or something.

I feel like STP went out on a high note with their last album but I’d more than welcome a new release from them. The interesting thing would be if this finally prompts a GNR reunion. Highly unlikely but you never know.

I never cared much for VR in the first place to be honest. I’m all for a STP comeback :)

VR was a disgrace to everything those musicians ever made
