Official Bio:
Few bands today understand the importance of melody and lyrical substance as does Under the Flood. They provide today’s audiences with smart, but accessible, rock music that appeals to even the most discriminating of taste.

The band’s path started in January 2005 with Matt Nadolski (guitar) and his brother Dave (vocals). Their goal was to create an honest sound that would resonate with listeners from all walks of life. The brothers teamed up with Kenn Davis (bass), who was available after his previous band with Chris Daughtry, had disbanded. After two years of touring the band had become acquainted with Brandon Sidebottom (guitar) whose playing style and musical approach was a perfect fit for Under the Floods sound. The final addition was Justin Hayden (drums), whose bombastic approach brought just the right feel the music needed.

Over the last ten years, rock music has seen many different phases come and go. This band is not a phase as their songs and sound are modern, but timeless. With high-energy live performances, and relentless touring Under the Flood has created the buzz and expectation for success as listeners are instantly drawn to the sound. Their debut album, ‘The Witness‘, was produced by Brian S. Craddock (Sick Shot / Daughtry) and mixed by Skidd Mills (Saliva, Deepfield, Saving Abel) and will be released on Koch Records May 13th, 2008.

It is a great album. I bought it after hearing them as a featured band last year.

As soon as the vocals started, I was like wtf, but it’s growing on me.

Hahahaha, ok, nevermind that. Player sound funky to anyone else?

alright, fixed the sample rate and they’re uploading now. if all 10 tracks aren’t there, they will be by the time you listen that far in (may need to refresh)

These guys rock. I’ve been following these guys for about 1 1/2 years. I was hoping that their national release would be new stuff but I can handle the older. Even though I have this CD I’m going to go out and buy it again to help support these guys.

    You stay classy tunelab.

They changed the track listing? That’s a shame. I really liked “Stranded” as the album opener.

“The Bottom” is the highlight of it, though. Good decision to make it the final track.

There’s more of a Deepfield lining in what I’m hearing. The only disappointment is the way it goes soft in some tracks, Endless + The Bottom are examples. Is this another sign of being a 3DD clone? Oh well.

I expected more hard-hitting songs, but it’ll grow on me with time. I think Halos is my favorite song that I’ve heard on here.
