Chris, Jay, and Nick from TuneLab Music all had the chance to attend Rock on the Range this past May 17-18, 2008 in Columbus, Ohio. We were able to do live interviews with several bands, and watch even more. Check out Nick’s review of the whole experience by clicking the review link to the right. We interviewed 10 Years, Staind, Shinedown, Drowning Pool, Alter Bridge, Seether, Rev Theory, Papa Roach, and Kyle Gass. You can check out the audio of each interview in the player below:

Be sure to ask Staind about the new album.
Nope, I’m just going to be asking them about what they have been doing since ’14 Shades of Grey’ was released
hah
Ouch, that hurt my feelings. By the way, who is doing the interviews? They sound like a machine, like if they are reading the questions right off a piece of paper. Autumn Offering? HAHA
Nick did the 10 Years interview (and yeah, he eventually was corrected on the album title) Chris just left to interview Staind. I’m being the webslave at the moment
if you have AIM instant messenger, look for us online.
Jay: speedracceerr
Nick: wickeddrumma3883
It is raining? Lucky fucks. Its 105 in California right now.
and we now have 2 extra tickets for each day. if you can make it, make it
Damn it all to hell. If only I had a car.
Nick must have met up with his internet boyfriend haha
I think i’m just more excited to hear Chris’ voice instead of staind…. but that’s just me
)
we’ll make Chris do the next update just for you Marfa!
Glad to see Nick made it back alive, you sound like you may have been in a “better mood” this time around Nick haha. Who’s bus were you in?
I will look forward to it… I’ve known that dude for quite some time now and I don’t believe I’ve ever heard him, hah… thanks!
Great interview Chris. I’m really interested in hearing the new Staind album now, I want to see how different and experimental it really is.
I’ve known him 5 years and this is the first time we’ve met in person
Internet connection really sucks out here
I almost lost it when Shinedown says “is a looker” and then Nick says “WAS a looker”
Cool interviews and everything guys. I enjoyed hearing a/b the new Shinedown especially. Glad to hear the new stuff is harder and sounds more like ‘Leave a Whisper’.
And Chris, you can tell you’re from the south, man haha.
People have a lot of fun with Howard Jones of Killswitch, especially their own members.
“This song is about the first time Howard tried to use his skateboard…it’s called When Darkness Falls.”
Hah….thanks, that was pretty awesome…. chris rules.
over and out!
Have a great time today guys….
goooood damn, i should have taken the tickets I was offered. >.<
we actually have 5 extra today
ha, Papa Roach interview: “let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the flooooooooooooooooooor”
That’s very ironic actually.
we didn’t ask DP about that, because talking to them offline before the interview, they said it had already been resolved between the bands involved.
Give it up for KG
Alter Bridge, Godsmack and 7Dust!! If all 3 bands go on tour together that would be insane!
thanks guys for all the hard work. we appreciate it.
Thanks man
I had my doubts about going at first, but I’m glad I did. Had a really great time, got to talk to some really great bands and see the first STP date in 8-ish years. Was awesome!
Looking forward to next year provided they have a decent lineup
I just got a chance to listen to the Drowning Pool interview. I love their response to the question about bands getting political on stage.
yeahhh, hearing Kyle Gass was the highlight for me… thanks guys, this isn’t a concert I would’ve gone to, but I enjoyed hearing you do what you do best!
So why’s this banner still on the top page? LOL. Says “live coverage” and all haha.
cause I’m lazy, ha. working on it now
I gotcha. Just giving you guys hell.
I gotta find time to listen to these interviews.
Kyle Gass is my hero.
“You can only do it so many times with your hand!”
Haha.
Yes, Kyle Glass was my highlight as well. If only we could get an interview with the almighty Jack Black next!
Glad that you guys enjoyed the concert and it was great to speak with TuneLab crew. Check out the other interviews I did with the ROTR bands at http://www.PlugIn.GMnext.com. KG
KG!! Pleasure to have met you and interview you dude. We’re gonna get all the vids and pics from the weekend up here shortly.
