It would be cool if every band released a live CD or DVD while we wait for the new album.

It would also be cool if it didn’t take Three Days Grace a billion years to release a new album.

cool. for only 10 bucks too. their live performance is definitely worth it.

The one time I saw them with Seether I thought they were kind of boring. But I still love them.

Good god where IS the new album?

Yeah they arent that great live

The new album will either be out in the fourth quarter of this year or first quarter of next year.

Hell, I thought their dates for this round of touring though were going to start the touring for whatever their new album was.

I personally think they’re one of the best live bands. Every show just has so much energy. It’s obvious they always give 100%.

When it comes to being live 3DG are overrated. Their live show isn’t as good as everyone says. Seeing a bunch of MTV teenage girls moshing to “Riot” while I get blinded by the bands overuse of lighting isn’t my idea of a great show.

haha great description Mike. I’ve actually only seen them once a long time ago at a radio festival. And that was even before I Hate Everything About You blew up so they had an early 20 minute set.

I’m sure a lot has changed since then.

I’m not too fond of 3DG live. Very boring no energy. Adam is not on key half the time and he has forgotten the words at two of the shows I’ve been to. BB, Seether, Red and Skillet all blew them out of the water on that last tour.

I’ve seen Three Days Grace twice at radio festivals and I thought they were awesome. In fact, the second time I thought they topped the first time, and they even played the same setlist.

Of course, also Adam wasn’t off-key and he didn’t forget any lyrics. But come on, that happens sometimes. You really can’t expect a singer to remember every lyric word for word or not make a mistake. Shit happens.

I didn’t think the lights were overused but then again I admit I am a big fan of light shows. I also like loud noises and bright colors.

This song is about being stuck at home with nothin’ to do…and it’s about being treated like shit WHILE you’re stuck at home with nothin’ to do…

As much as I love 3 Days Grace, the one time I saw them I was a little disappointed. Adam was drowned out by the guitars and…well my seats sucked anyway so the show in general wasn’t too great. There was a shit load of fire for “Riot” and i thought they went a little overboard with that.

From what it sounds like though, they don’t seem to be too consistent w/ their shows and some people will get to see great shows and others not so much which says a lot for a band. Too bad Mike isn’t 15…

lol cfw828- They probably say that at EVERY single show. I know the handful of times I’ve seen them live they’ve said that!!

Aha, he’s said that at most I have been to as well. He says the same thing night after night for each intro. A little annoying. ;)

As for the crazy/overused lights, I freaking love them.

I’ve seen them 10+ times (they just tour like mad) and I’ve never been disappointed. I would say maybe half those times Adam’s voice sounded strained, but I really could care less while I’m there. Energy and giving it their all is what makes a show for me.

why should it matter that teenage girls are moshing? don’t you go to see the band and hear the music as opposed to seeing who’s in attendance? there were a ton of younger ppl at the concert I went to but I didn’t care. I’m not gonna let who’s there with me stop me from enjoying the show. ‘riot’ rocks live. and I thought they were much better than breaking benjamin live. they connected with the fans better as well as just having more energy/enthusiasm and they had a stronger setlist selection from their respective catalogue.

I have seen 3DG three times now I believe and I’ve enjoyed every show I’ve seen with them personally. Sometimes the guitars can drown out Adam a little bit, but that happens at almost every show I’ve been to, so that’s not really fair to say it’s their fault. Bitch about the sound techs at the shows if you have to mention that. :)

Yeah…damn techs. It’s not like you have the coolest/easiest job or anything..

Speaking of techs, has anyone seen Flyleaf live?

Good god they need to fire that guy.
