yeah, not Nonpoint. as for the others, I'm not sure. maybe I just thought that for some reason. I remember seeing they signed somebody and thinking "man, every band they sign has an album already", but it may have been an exaggeration. Although, there was one or two they signed that already had records, but they dropped them before they came out.

I know the Karnivool and Raintime albums were already made, but I'm pretty sure Burn Season, Stereoside, Nonpoint, Another Black Day, and Smile Empty Soul all recorded their albums specifically for Bieler. I don't know about the other bands on their roster though.

I don't have stats in front of me right now, but I'm pretty sure 99% of the bands Bieler Bros has signed in the last 5 years had a record out already

a lot of new bands seem to be doing these "as is" deals. The labels probably like it because they don't have to front a lot of $ for recording and producing the album, they just put the album out in stores and then focus on promotion. And the bands benefit from the distribution and the promo / touring exposure.

Yeah, they're releasing the same album. They have these deals where they sign artists to "as is" deals which basically means that any album that had been previously available is going to be released pretty much as is.

I don't know if it's been re-mixed or re-mastered, but to my knowledge, it's the same album.
