Birmingham, Alabama-based hard rockers Lynam have set “Tragic City Symphony” as the title of their new album. “We’ve been working again with producer Jason Elgin (Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Collective Soul), who we consider the fourth member of Lynam,” guitarist/vocalist Jacob Lynam says. “He always brings out the best in us and on this new record he has pushed us to new levels. The songs are straight-ahead, melt-yourface rock songs in true Lynam style. We have some really cool special guests on the new record, including the band Hinder and Tom Keifer of Cinderella”. Along with Jason Elgin, the band also enlisted Mike Shipley (Green Day, Maroon 5) and Beau Hill (Ratt, Stevie Nicks) on mixing.

This album is going to be Great!
sucks
I think this CD is pretty damn good. Nothing revolutionary, just some good ole rock n roll.
Damn Nate, you seem really negative and bitter about everything lately man
well i just tell it like it is and i’m extremely critical. I’m not going to sugar coat anything. My expectation when listening to any new band is that they suck and have to convince me otherwise. They didn’t change my mind, so it goes back to sucks, plain and simple.
I’m the polar opposite. I just love all types of music in general. I’m critical, but I don’t go in expecting something to suck.
I think it sounds GREAT! I appreciate a group of guys that can create, record, and sell incredible music on their own…love the sound, and the mixes are superb!
LYNAM ROCKS!
Pretty good CD. Like Jason said, it’s not revolutionary, but it’s some solid rock n roll.
This entire CD will have a permanent place on my MP3 player – and I don’t have much space. Thanks to Lynam for a ball kicking record – when touring (man you guys deserve a ripper of a tour after the setbacks you’ve been dealt) dont forget to include Minnesota, Dammit.
good record and some of the nicest guys i’ve ever met out there
i love “Save My Soul”. the rest of the tracks are pretty all right, mainstream stuff
