Alright, this whole Sevendust touring w/ unsigned/unknown bands thing is getting a little out of hand.

Taproots fine, but dear enemy and whatever the hell allyria is? I dont think so!

Book some national acts!

I guess that’s just the way they roll.

I think its cool of them to do this. It gives up and coming bands a chance to get their name out there and the experience of a national tour.

I agree with Chris… and if you haven’t heard of either of these bands, then check them out to see if it is worth the ticket price. At least that is what I would do. But I have been a fan of both Dear Enemy and Allyria for a good while.

Hey thanx alot for covering this story for us. It’s definitely big news for the band. Looking forward to the tour.

Dunno if this was ever announced:

But Oct. 24th, Sevendust will be @ the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence (Actually, the ad just says they are playin a Dunkin Donuts, but I’m fairly certain they mean the arena) w/ Godsmack & Hinder as part of the Rock the Ink tour.

I agree that it’s cool that they headline so many shows but it would also be cool to go out w/ bigger artists as well, just to mix it up a lil. I mean, they got me into Red, but that rumored tour w/ Godsmack and Alter Bridge woulda been nice to see too.

I think it’s good that they take out unsigned bands like Overscene, Neverset and Soulidium and give them a chance to open a tour. They are still have national acts on the tours too. Both Dear Enemy and Allyria are solid, competent bands and I’m sure they’ll give good sets.

The intro to Intoxication reminds me so much of Atomship – Plastic People

Wow i’ve never heard that song but you’re right! That’s definitely a cool song too.

Glad Intox was written a year earlier than their song. I’d feel bad about accidentally ripping it off if it wasn’t.

Allyria has gained a fan in me because of Tunelab, I had never heard of this band before I read this article. Very solid sounding band.
