Didnt “All I Want” just come out?

Maybe this is the rock single, and “All I Want” is the “pop” single.

You know, I really like Staind…but even just looking at the screen here, this looks like another generic video from them. Man, they really need to try something new.

Based on looking at the still, it’s DEFINITELY generic as it continues where the last vid and hit single, “Believe”, left off (What do you expect to have anything new, on the table, brought to you by the Staind boot camp? Nope!). Since ‘Break the Cycle’ broke big and things going on a steep incline, when is Aaron Lewis ever going to learn to become a solo act? The focus is mostly geared on the songwriting as it’s been heard before just as presented on how ‘The Illusion of Progress’ is put together.

I guarantee, like “Believe”, this will be a hit.

I give two shits about the video. This song, even in its simpicity, speaks volumes to me. Im pretty happy this is their new single. Ive been on them for being doing to much “cry baby’ stuff… but I now ‘get’ what other probably get about their other singles. Its funny to me….just when Im opening a door to Staind again(im actually a pretty big fan, I just got discontent with them)…they go and do what they have been doing….and I come around. I personally think the quality is bettter. Maybe Im just in a differend state of mind and let everything else “Fade”.

I saw them in concert recently. Tight, and to me, the album brought back some things I loved about them to begin with. Aaron pigeoned holed himself a bit with the ‘woe is me lyrics” and yet brought me back with the same lyrics. I dont think he ‘broke the cycle” , I just think the cycle came back ’round again for me.

Great song, real good album. Fantastic live.
