    Good for Tooth and Nail!

I’ve been waiting for news that Anberlin would put out a ‘best of’ since I’ve only known their work from ‘Cities’ and with ‘New Surrender’ meeting with such accolades (love it!), I’m hoping the bulk of work is off from ‘Never Take Friendship Personal’ since that’s an album I’m willing to know what the fuss is about and explore. That’s esp with the rough version of the ‘feel good’ hit “Feel Good Drag” is in top 10 status and the future of the band is looking bright, I don’t mind looking back one bit!

This is just tooth and nail trying to cash in. Don’t expect anything special.

A band with 4 albums brings out a best of, what a joke

  4. elknetld2kil2 says:

    Creed did it after 3…

  5. Chris says:

Wind-Up did it after 3….Creed had split when the greatest hits album was released.

Tooth and Nail is releasing the Anberlin disc, they are no longer with the label and like JimmiJames said, they are just trying to cash in on their current success.

  6. Lucas says:

Yeah, can Tooth & Nail can’t even use anything from ‘New Surender’, so they’re basically going to have 2 albums to work with and maybe ‘Lost Songs’ if they’re really reaching for content.

  7. Stretch says:

They must of had a 5 album deal with T+N before they signed with the big boys on the current album. It does make sense to release a best of and they can pick some great songs from the 4 albums released.

Would of prefared a live album though.

  8. JimmiJames says:

Sony did this twice with KoRn.

ohgreat: You HAVE to get NTFP, it’s flawless in my opinion and the best work the band has done to date (many say that about “Cities”) but that’s how I feel about NTFP.

At least for right now, there’s no set date for this according to Absolutepunk.net
