There is absolutely nothing memorable here - no hooks, no melodies, nothing. It's not horrible, just boring - VERY boring. I was really looking forward to it too. Agree with most of this.....but do think Declaration would have made a great first single rather than LO......but it's probably next to be released. The one caveat is that hearing DC perform these songs live is a whole other experience, and he puts the spin on them that do make them his own...full-on, rocking, without the gloss. Don't miss seeing him perform if you get the chance. As he moves past AI, his upcoming releases in the future will only get better. I just hope this album sells well enough that he is allowed to make another one, where he will hopefully be able to make the music he really wants to make.
