“Broken Road” and “Contagious” are great single choices. “Last Man Standing” is also good but I don’t see it doing well on radio. Did they release “Mayday” as a single?
Is Papa Roach trying to get what I believe is a hit with “Lifeline” because it sounds like they’re trying to get what made their two first records to be runaway hits, then after what “Scars” did, it looks like the formula is coming back with ‘Metamorphosis’. I can’t go wrong and neither could the fans.
The only disappointments would have to be New Found Glory and People in Planes. I was expecting 12 Stones might be working on writing new material, but with how ‘Anthem for the Underdog’ is holding up, I can’t go wrong if “Broken Road” is the 4th single off of the record. It’s truly holding up as it is a ‘gold’ record. Amazing!
At the rate that Lamb of God is displaying with “Set to Fail” and “Contractor”, off of ‘Wrath’, there’s no stopping what Randy Blythe and co. are set to do. Excellent!
The Trapt song should do huge. They need sales too, so this should help.
Haven’t heard the new P. Roach song yet but I’m sure its awesome. Im trying to wait until I get the album to hear it.
I really like the Skindred cover of Electric Avenue, but whats the point of releasing a single that isn’t on the album [Roots Rock Riot].
I guess they’ll have to re-release the album w/ the track if it takes off.
Gravity: PiP did release Mayday first, I thought it would at least do something, it didn’t.
“Pretty Buildings” is the best and most marketable song on the album, but apparently radio doesn’t like the “so come out of the closet” line (according to an old blog). It means something else in the UK.
Best of luck to Trapt & NFG with their singles.
Man, I’m surprised LoG released another single so soon.
I wonder what the next Hoobastank single will be? Any guesses anyone?
Wikipedia says “So Close, So Far” wille the second single and says it is set to be released tomorrow.

“I Don’t Think I Love You” is my favorite so far.
Agreed on “I Don’t Think I Love You”
If I remember the stream that imeem put up for the new album by Hoobastank, FOR(N)EVER, I swear it’s their best since ‘The Reason’. I can reason with the experimenting that’s been done on ‘Every Man for Himself’ but the ‘The Reason’ is the reason, to me, to like what’s being heard with FOR(N)EVER. No doubt about it!
I also hope Contagious does well; it’s also great live. I also like the nfg, 12 stones, and p.roach songs.
“but the ‘The Reason’ is the reason”
My head hurts…
My favorite song of the bunch is probably the 12 Stones track, but I like the Trapt song and “Lifeline” isn’t bad either. Though I’ve yet to hear the “Electric Avenue” cover.
