If Shinedown ever heads in the pop/alternative direction, they may gain fans but they will lose my respect. I've been watching these guys since before LAW was released and they are a very different band today than they used to be. I would love to see them go in teh direction of Son of Sam or Sound of Madness, They were the tracks I really looked forward to. But of course if they just went back to Leave a Whisper they would be perfect. Justin, I completely agree. The harder stuff on this album is awesome, and I'd personally love to see that side of them develop more. But that's just me being selfish, I guess... I'm hoping that Breaking Inside (my personal favorite) sees the light of day at some point, same with What A Shame. They only showed Brent in that, at least this has the entire band. I like the effects too. And somehow the plot of the whole thing is kind of cool, the guy being all badass and saving the kid.
