Saving Abel Guitarist Charged With Sexual Assault
Saving Abel guitarist Jason Null and another individual were arraigned yesterday on charges of forced oral copulation and forced oral copulation on a minor in Oakland, CA. Null has pleaded not guilty and his attorney calls the charges “baseless.” According to police, a 17-year-old girl was lured onto the band’s bus after a show Tuesday night and was forced to perform a sex act on the two.

i’m not taking anyone side i don’t even like Saving Abel all that much but their’s no telling inless you were their this could be some made up story of someone just looking for money and who better then to go after then a “rockstar”cause their’s history of this kinda stuff i’m sure.but if it’s really happen i’d be the first one their to take him down and hand a bat to her but as i said their no telling and if anything i’m betting she told them she was 18 probally drunk and now regerts or her parents found out it or somthing their just no tell the only thing that’s for sure is this will forever be next to his name now.
the reason for me saying that is you can’t really forced some to give you “oral copulation”or head as most enjoy saying because if she didn’t want to do she should have bitten down he have second though really fast and if you don’t belive guy out their speak up if you ever had a girl go down on you and use her teeth tell me that doesn’t hurt you know but anyway whatever you know thier just no telling

I don’t think her age is the problem here. I might be wrong, but I thought 17 was the age of consent. I think what’s going on here is that she believes they took advantage of her.

The guys in Saving Abel are good friends of our’s, so I’m not gonna sit here and pass judgement on some story that some girl is claiming bc it very easily could be a lie…we should all wait until further information is found out before everyone starts bashing Jason

All i was saying was if you don’t like the band doesn’t mean you have to come on here saying it’s completely true just cause you hate them. The legal age is 21 in order to drink in the States. This is god awful, esp with the insults of “Stupid inbred Southern hick” and “Dirt bag crap band”. Stand your ground and it’s firmly ‘not guilty’ to the courts.

This is not Saving Abel’s forum. Its an opinion/comment section. Look at other metal/rock news sites (if you must, lol), the commenting is far much worse.
This news piece fails to mention he’s like 33. Like double the age of the plaintiff. Plain and simple, this guy should be ashamed of what he did, and there is no excuse for it. He will likely get fined, maybe jailed for a short term.
Why is it that people can think they can get away with trashing a whole group of people under the guise of trashing one person? You just dissed Southerners and Democrats. I don’t particularly care cause like you say, there’s much worse elsewhere, although why that should be an excuse is beyond me. But obviously some people were kind of offended by your ignorant comment.
And anyway, maybe he didn’t do it, as people have pointed out, so talking like he “obviously did it” is kind of naive.
I don’t think its fair to judge someone based off of just the charges at hand….just bc he is accused it doesn’t mean he did it. And on another note I find it rather crazy to go calling anyone names like “stupid inbred southern hicks”.
I knew these guys before they blew up on the radio and they are probably some of the nicest most down to earth guys I have met and that being said I wish them the best and hope that this whole ordeal resolves itself for the best.

All the info is not out on this thing yet folks. We’ve only heard one side. We’ll hear his side when there is an actual court hearing. You might want to hold off on passing judgement until then. From what I’m hearing through the grapevine, you might end up looking stupid. At least hear the whole story before you trash the guy. ‘Cause you know, there’s never been a case where a celebrity was falsely accused of something like this…uh huh.

and the legal drinking age has to do w/ the fact that the girl may have been intoxicated at the time of the alleged “copulation”. not saying she was, but the story goes most the time, that they are. and that is, well “god-awful”, because of the fact that because girls are girls, and some younger girls can pull off looking older than they really are. with this, guys will easily buy these girls many drinks, to see them get hammered and do things they normally wouldn’t do, and this kind of touches with the whole “girls gone wild” issues.
about every time a story like this comes out though, there will be a 2nd, situation-altering side to it so ill wait and see how this plays out.

Saving Abel should get laid as much as possible because their time in the spotlight is almost up. Their second single flopped and addicted quickly fell off the charts. Saving Abel sucks, they are a carbon copy of nickelback, and they write really lame songs.
Yeah, and that had no contribute to this news story what so ever.
Addicted was on the active rock and mainstream rock chart longer than any other song this past year, and it also went top 10 on both alternative and pop. It even charted on Hot Adult Contemporary, I didn’t go away fast at all. 18 Days is top 5 on Active Rock and is almost top 40 on Pop. So yeah, it didn’t flop either. I wish it did though.
