Oh and to add to that, its no longer called “Still Standing” because “it doesnt fit the theme of the album anymore”
Its untitled as of now, though it should be called “Still Waiting”
Lol.. “Still Waiting” is about right. This is getting ridiculous.
LOL. Or, “Were Standing, Got Dropped, Now Standing Again.”
lol… wow
as long as it gets released before 2010 I’ll be happy lol
I’ll believe it when I hear it
isnt the cd done?
Been done since December 07.
even with the delays, i’m not counting my egss before the hatch wiht this record. It says something about a band to me when the best guitar solo they’ve ever had is on a horribly radio-friendly and cliche track (”Carry on”). the vocalist gets on my nerves too, his voice is decent at best, and i feel like they repress their guitarist.
if the cd is done then wtf
I’m surprised. What happened to The Orchard? I thought they were so psyched about joining that label.
They have had this album finished for like so long now and I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for the band. Inking with EMI could be a tall order though, major labels wont release albums they dont like from their clients so it might get delayed even more if it isnt up to standard (but hopefully it will be)
This has to be the most delayed album in years and the fans are getting just as frustrated as the band now.
hopefully they’ve been writing new stuff since they finished this one
This is great news….I hope it doesn’t sound like Nickelback.
“TVT Records filed for bankruptcy in February, and was sold in a private auction to The Orchard, an online independent music distributor” is the word off their wikipedia page. The rest, “The album is currently finished, and a tentative release date of March 2009 was announced in mid-2008, but the material was not released”. This means Default wants to keep catering to American audiences besides us Canadian folkies, but need proper distribution to serve both sides of the border so EMI Canada Records is legit. A fall release, esp September, can’t be bad. I still have a love for this band and I still do
