  1. honestly. its almost July and we dont have a single. people knwo who Creed is, they need to cut the “hey we’re back and here’s us warming up on mornign shows” BS and actually release some new stuff. In my opinion it’s not boding well for the album that they;re play older stuff still when we’re more than likely within the 2 month makr for a release date

  2. i hope this record is more tremonti & CO.’s alter bridge stylings featuring Stapp then another Creed record. Also, what a pointless shot of those young kids around 20 second makr. chances are thy have no idea who Creed even is. oh and did anyone notice that Stapp botched where he’s supposed to come in wiht the vocals? Lastly, whoever posted the video, should’ve gotten the full thing, nto 2:49 seconds of it.

  3. Guys, patience. I’m amped for new stuff too, but just cause we all know who Creed is doesn’t mean everyone in the world realizes they’re back. You may think it’s hard to believe, but promotion is a good thing. Brian Marshall’s apparently said the new single will be out in approximately two weeks, so it’s not that far off. I don’t know that the album will be out in August though. September sounds more likely at this rate. It’s not good to rush things like this.

  4. yeah and august release dat seems a bit soon, if we’re getting the single in 2 weeks. They may be relasing in in august though, so it doesn’t overshadow the Alter Bridge DVD release (not that it would). and salastna, i know that it’ll be a creed record. what i meant was that i hope the use trmonti & CO.’s and natural talents more on this record (as they have done in AB) then they did back when Creed was big. and Pen, i realize that nbot everyone else in the world knows about the reunion, but you have to live under a rock to not know. Frankly, as much as Stapp has Changed, i see this as a step backward as Tremonti & Co. just got Alter Bridge out of that “Creed with a new singer” BS with the last album.

  5. They have to remind everyone what Creed was. If they fly into the reunion, they’ll go nowhere. They have to remind people what it was about Creed that they missed. That’s the key to success.

  6. As much as i love Creed and hope for their success. I totally agree with phoenix88. I think this is going to be very interesting to see how it all turns out.

  7. Here’s the quote from Hits Daily Double about ticket sales…..

    Quote:
The summer touring season is coming into focus, with Green Day, No Doubt, Blink-182 and the Warped Tour getting off to strong starts, while Nine Inch Nails/Jane’s Addiction, the Dave Matthews Band and Aerosmith (touring without a record) are softer than expected. But these relative disappointments are nothing compared to the re-formed Creed’s tour, which concert insiders say is a disaster, while The Fray and Yanni are doing only slightly better…

  8. well that sucks to hear. I would think they would release the single, then the album, then go on tour. The single and/or the album could change a lot. Most ppl probably dont care to hear all the old stuff….again.

  9. Ticket sales would be a lot better if tickets were a little cheaper. And I watched this in the morning and the worst part for me was when a commercial break cut in before the song was over. But its still great to have Creed back, and if the new single comes out two weeks from today it will be on my birthday, which would make it even better.

  10. Just my pov on this one…I think most people that are/were Creed fans are approaching or have passed 30 and with the economy and starting families etc. spending $500.00 bucks for tickets , gas, lodging, food, beer, etc. is out of most peoples reach right now……..my usual $500 summer concert trip is carpeting my sons play room……….

  11. There are a lot of great tours and bands touring right now. Ive bought STP($39 base) and Tool($59 base) tickets already. The Tool prices were a bit higher, not counting gas and parking on top of it(and charges), but those prices arent the worst either.

Im really confused on how the ticket brokers , management, artists etc. think people will just be pulling money out of their ass for shows this year. They obviously arent economists.

Im sorry to say, but Creed….you just arent THAT big to be just say “reunion” and people will sell a kidney. You arent some legendary band. Im a big fan, but you clearly know my point here. Ticket sales reflect it as well. I was shocked at the price points of Creed in particular.

  12. So many good tours, so little money. My wife and I rarely go to shows together. We usually find bands we have in common with other friends, and then go seperately to what shows we like. We just dont have $200-300 to both get tickets at the same time. Luckily she’s not the concert nut that I am. We are going to STP togeher though, and thats a big deal for us. For a little less than one Creed ticket, we are both going to STP. Thanks STP!! And we have GREAT seats!

  13. That crackling sound i believe is the rain or wind. But yeah, this sucks. They suck. Definately not a reunion that had a lot of demand. They just need the money obv.
