Members Of Foo Fighters, QOTSA, And Led Zeppelin Form New Band

Queens of the Stone Age front-man Josh Homme has started a new band with Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones. The unnamed trio are rumored to be in a Los Angeles studio working on their debut album.

I assume Dave will be on drums and not vox?

Interesting, though likely a short-lived venture.

intersting indeed. Dave Grohl does do good side projects though (case in point the Probot stuff he’s done)

Curiouser and curiouser.

Very strange. This is like another Chickenfoot.

If this group actually ever does release anything, I want to hear what it sounds like.

this band has dave grohl so i estimate whatever they produce will be better than chickenfoot…by a lot

The ’supergroup’ theme strikes again. Dave does good stuff, so has the potential to be good.

ANYTHING with DAVE GROHL and JOHN PAUL JONES………..I’m in!!!!!!
Can’t wait.

I love Grohl, but Im not so sure his name alone makes it automatically better than chickenfoot. Id like to think it will be a great project, but its not like chickenfoot is full of no-tallents.

Im always interested to see what ’supergroups’ like this will do.

right now is the time of the supergroups how it looks like….

Anyone know what kind of impact this has on the Zeppelin Tour that is supposed to be happening with Myles Kennedy? I’m just wondering because if I’m not mistaken the Zeppelin Tour was why Creed got back together.

HOLY CRAP I’M EXCITED!!!! :)
