The first single “Uprising” will hit rock radio on August 3rd.

A three part symphony? Sign me up.
They did say that it was going to be less rock and more classical, but I didn’t know they’d go as far as a three part symphony. Either way, I can’t wait.

The band is classified as Alt rock, prog rock, new prog, and space rock (according to their wikipedia page). It’s time to expand the success of “Black Holes and Revelations” which was a slab mainly of electronica with some prog elements as part of their musical fusion which does include progressive rock, classical music (!) and electronica (!). I hope for more surprises since the Absolution LP was a success.
