This is great news. I can’t wait for this album.

  2. enga83 says:

    I agree, flyfreak.

  3. Matt says:

One of my favorite bands of all time, this made my day.

  4. Omar says:

    “with producer Brian Howes (Hinder)”

This kinda scares me since I like the serious side of POM more than their Hinder side. But then again Howes has produced some great albums lately.

  5. mattersfool says:

I’m pretty pumped for this as well. I hope we get a solid release date soon.

  6. tlmikel says:

Don’t expect something serious with that album title haha.

  7. flyfreak says:

^I think this sounds like a very serious and dignified project.

  8. Omar says:

Oh geez, I just heard why they named their record that. WOW, five bucks says the label wont let it happen.

  9. Omar says:

    ^Still in shock.

  10. ccrosbie33 says:

Didn’t Blink 182 nearly make the same joke with an album title about 8 years ago?

No matter, I just hope there is another song about my girlfriend f**kin’ hatin’ me or smacking my ass.

    That’s the POM I miss.

  11. Matt says:

There’s a Hinder side of POM? What album did you listen to Omar?

  12. Omar says:

Of course there is. While you could argue POM started the Hinder-sound before Hinder got it popular.

And like Mikel said, it looks like were are gonna have some more of it.

  13. Matt says:

I don’t know, other than “Control” and “She Fucking Hates Me” I don’t really consider them like Hinder.”Famous” and “Life on Display” had none of that on the albums. Though I don’t even consider “Control” and “She Fucking Hates Me” as Hinder type songs.

  14. abyanks says:

    no chance thats serious

  15. pen says:

Gee, I thought I posted in this in the news thread. Oh well.

  16. luketmosley says:

i hope the lead single isn’t by far the best song on the album.. the way famous was…

  17. pen says:

He sounds high in this interview.

  18. pen says:

“Famous” was not the best song on that album. “Moonshine” takes that trophy home.

  19. Matt says:

“Radiate” is my favorite from the album.

  20. Omar says:

^You mean “Blurry” Part 2? HAHA, just kidding. I love “Radiate” too. But you cant deny the similarities.

  21. Matt says:

haha yeah, I think that was intentional though

  22. Shameson says:

I don’t think that the album Famous gets enough credit. Out of the three albums I think that Famous is the best one. I have to agree with everyone here about the song choices.

  23. pen says:

I think the second album is the best actually.

  24. BleedtheFreak says:

Should be called “put it back on the rack”. Because theres where my copy will end up. On the rack.

  25. Gravity says:

Life on Display is totally their best. This album title is odd.

  26. AltRockMan says:

Famous is awesome-easily the bands best work imo. Life on Display had pretty bad reviews when it came out but it wasnt too bad really.

What a great new album title that is for sure!

  27. Zombie says:

there albums have gotten worse with each release. i couldn’t get into Famous.

  28. mrbollocks says:

    God Dammit!

    Hendrix is dead.

    Cobain is dead.

    Wes Scantlin is still alive.

Artists die and redneck hacks live forever.
    :-(

  29. Matt says:

What? How the hell is Wes Scantlin a redneck? Damn, you are retarded.

  30. ccrosbie33 says:

I agree with mrbollocks (if indeed that is his real name) that Wes is pretty backwards white trash (if that is what is being implied by “redneck”) but I have to laugh at his somehow thinking that Cobain was some trancendant “artist.”

He was the lead singer for a fad-grunge band in the 90s. That’s it. The real musical genius in that trio was the mop-top on drums who has shown us now, he is the complete musical package.

  31. Matt says:

Wow people really need to learn what “Redneck” and “White Trash” really means.

  32. ccrosbie33 says:

    Enlighten me, then Matt.

  33. flyfreak says:

Redneck is more of your Confederate flag waving wannabee, while white trash is kinda like inbred homestyle livin.

  34. Matt says:

I really don’t know where you grew up, but I live in PA and I’m surrounded by real “rednecks” and even if Wes Scantlin tries to be one he is not.

Example of a redneck, Hank Williams Jr. and David Allen Coe.

  35. Matt says:

Also Redneck used to be considered a racist word for blacks who used to work on plantations all day out in the sun. Now it’s just become a stereotypical word for country boys.

  36. brian4017 says:

LOL at real rednecks in PA, and this is coming from somebody that lives in Texas.

  37. flyfreak says:

Brian reminds me of the redneck white trash combo pack. Hahaha

  38. brian4017 says:

I’ll bend you over and make you squeal like a pig boy.

  39. flyfreak says:

    Da-da-dang-dang-dang-dang-dang-dang……I do a-reckon Brian’s a-looking for a little Deliverance.
