Flyleaf have revealed the cover art for their upcoming new album ‘Memento Mori‘ due out November 10th, check it out right here.

Kinda cool. I would have removed the dude in the front, though.
That has to be the dumbest cover that I have ever seen, honestly.
2 Things: 1) Why is there a super-imposed picture of the singer partying? Looks out of place, almost goofy. And 2) Why does the ‘M’ above the band name look like a Nazi Eagle? There’s just a whole lot of wrong going on here.
I know this is WAY after all these comments were posted, but whatever. 1. Lacey on the cover represents the slave who followed after the King shouting “Memento Mori”, or “Remember you will die”, as he rode back into the city after a victorious battle.
2. The M is a pelican. Lacey explained this after a concert I recently went to. There is a legend that a mother pelican cut herself open to feed her blood to her starving young, giving them life, but dying herself. It is a picture of what Jesus did for us on the cross. Very far removed from having anything to do with Nazi Germany.
Maybe this isn’t the mastered cover, kinda like Rob Zombie’s new one

I agree with Rockett. That was what I was exactly thinking. I thought the M looked looked naziish, or marilyn manson ish. And her on the front is RETARDED. The guy and the mahrching band in black is fine.
I hope they take her off. That is ridiculous and the quality is amateur.

I love how people come on here just to bash things like album covers. Maybe you should wait and listen to the album, then you can probably piece together lyrics from songs, or whole songs, that go with things on the album cover. Make sense?? Your just jealous you don’t have an album cover being shown on tunelab ?????????

I with Mike (Tigers logo)- I can’t stand when people get on here and just bash the band just to be a prick. Flyleaf is a good band, I have high expectations for this album, I don’t get on other bands news and post shit just to piss people off. I don’t care if this sounds hypocritical or not but the comment I’m referring to comes from someone who has Black Stone Cherry as their fuckn avatar- r u kidding me??? get the fuck out of here!

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Or an album by it’s cover. This will probably be a pretty dang good album. I don’t see how you’d screw it up after 4 yrs. waiting. Plus I’ve heard some new songs seeing them live several times over the last few years and loved any new material they played. I am looking forward to it. Sucks we had to wait this long.
Don’t care about the band, never got into them. But, the artwork does look awful, very terrible quality.

3 years to plan out a new album and cover, and THIS is the cover that you come up with?… Can we see ‘Option B’ please?!? … and get Ivan Ooze off this cover.
Obviously its a news piece about the album art, and obviously theirs a place to comment. I guess my problem is, when I check out album art on here, when I dont like one, I carry on, but when I like one, I comment. Im not a negative person, if theirs something I don’t like, I just move on, and dont waste my time bashing it, and Im not a huge flyleaf fan, so I don’t even feel I have a right to an opinon on their art.
I would probably have delayed my album that long too if that were my album cover.
