A Perfect Circle To Release New Album Next Year?

A Perfect Circle’s Maynard James Keenan hinted in a recent interview with Seattle’s 99.9 that the band may be releasing new material sometime in the Spring of 2010. You can download the full interview here.

Keenan announced last December that the band had begun working on ideas for a new album, but had no plans for releasing.

Now that would be fantastic.

Good hell, I think he’s actually read all the bitching I’ve been doing here on TuneLab!

It’s about damn time! I can’t wait!

New APC? I approve.

I’ll believe it when I see/hear it. Can’t trust Maynardo.

ya… i’ll believe it to when i see it.. cause like it sayys…. they announced that they were doing stuff last december……………. that never happened.. aperfectcircle.com hasn’t been updated since 2006.. if anything is announced on there.. maybe i’ll start believing it… but anyways if they do…. I would be the happiest kid ever…

yeah boi!!

I would like to see this (and not another emotive), but I bet it doesn’t come out until late 2010.

Was never really into this band, but I know this band bringing out some new music would make lots and lots of people happy.

This is Great news!!!!! I hope the speculations are true!

Oh and I hope it’s APC style and not influenced any by his recent artistic ATTEMPT “Puscifer” I would be happy with an Emotive type album or anything really for that matter.

They announced APC was only doing singles from now on…..this interview says nothing about a whole album

Yeah, I heard they were going to work on stuff, and then do like what Trent Reznor did with NIN and release it all digitally, and then maybe, only maybe release it in album form much later.

I thought they were just going to release songs periodically but not an actual album

you never know. Usually when a band gets going and they figure out like 10 or 12 songs, then whats th point in not releasing an album?
