LastDayHere is a band from Slovenia that steps out of the stereotype perspective of modern rock. Well based instrumental parts spiced up with amazing vocals, can easily be enjoyed by even the most pretentious listener. Their music is outstanding, authentic and can especially be distinguished by its vocal parts, which is also true for their live performances. For LastDayHere every gig is as important as if it was the last, which is in accordance to the band’s name based on the saying “live every day as if it was your last”. All that we have is this moment and it has to be seized to the maximum. The result is a convincing and powerful live performance every time they hit the stage. There is only today and it’s time for LastDayHere!
In a very short time, their debut album “From Pieces Created” has been very positively received by local and foreign media. One of the first reviews states: ” These guys crank out a great balance of writing, performance, and production that stands side by side with the best in heavy metal. With hard driving guitars and a big production sound, Last Day Here snaps your neck clean off. Rotation on Melted is heavy, and no one can believe they’re an unsigned act! If these guys keep this up they are headed for the same place as Metallica, Nickelback, and AC/DC!” (Melted Metal Web Radio).
The band was also featured in the German edition of the leading metal magazine Metal Hammer, where the author wrote: “It is essential for anyone to check this band out.” (Metal Hammer April 2008)

tunelab is becoming a constant flow of awesome streams
This band is awesome!
big fans of these guys
This is absolutely freakin’ AWESOME! As is the Album Cover for it.
Where can I get this? I can’t find it on iTunes or Amazon.
Just listened to the whole album, and all I have to say is wow. This band has found has found a niche that splits real hard metal and more mainstream/prog. rock. I can imagine a lot of bands out there that with the same lyrics and rhythm ruining these great songs with typical (and predictable)basic musical talent.
Lastdayhere seams to scratch the itch of music fans that love banging their heads in their car, but can also appreciate the strong lyrics and subtle lighter tones played by a very talented metal band.
The singing/songwriting reminds me of Ashes of Soma meets Staind sharing the stage with Mudvayne and Deftones…I like it a lot.
Whoever wrote, “If these guys keep this up they are headed for the same place as Metallica, Nickelback, and AC/DC!” is an idiot
I am many things an idiot not being one of them.
CS: This is the only place I could find to purchase this album. Hope it helps.

not bad. the only gripe i have is the singer sounds like every other alt rock band out there (at times he sounds like the guy from pop evil, other times like chad kroeger from back in the day)
Awesome music and incredible band!
I don’t understand why people feel the need to compare each band with other bands, as if there is some sort of science involved. Every band has a different story and LastDayHere definitely has its own story. For anyone who cares to listen beyond any clinical observations: This entire album is telling a personal and intimate story in ways it could otherwise not be told. It is not just a story of one person either, it has also been my story some 20 years ago. It is also the story of this girl (http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=96219532&blogId=509582300) and anyone else who has struggled with loosing a loved one and having to reinvent him- or herself.
Visit their MySpace page, drop the science, browse through the photos, videos, their blog and the comments people leave and you will catch on to their story and to their dream. It’s tangible even for people who are not into rock or metal.
The idiot whoever wrote “If these guys keep this up they are headed for the same place as Metallica, Nickelback, and AC/DC!” is spot on in recognizing LastDayHere’s potential and not necessarily whether they will reach that place. That is just the dream …. and it just depends if there are enough ‘idiots’ who can relate to it.
This is good album. One good stream after another TL.
good! but kinda old, don’t ya think?
It’s not a brand new release, but it is their latest. I’m just trying to get some publicity for some lesser known bands that deserve it.
Great job!!!

I like the idea, Mikel. Keep doing it.
A couple of other bands that deserves some publicity: Aclarion, Forever Never, Feedback, Signum A.D., The Leo Project, Corroded, Broken Iris and Arythma.
Signum A.D. is very very tight.
Awesome music and great people too! I can’t wait for what’s next from them.
Good stuff…nice solid rock music!
i like it too. I’m on trk 6 liked everyone so far. That’d be cool to hear it on xm sirius octane
It’s freakin’ great! It crawls under your skin and those tunes echoes in your head – awesome!
This album is really good. I can listen to it from start to finish without skipping tracks. Thanks for introducing us to this band Mike.
I totally agree with you Menno. I can’t nor wouldn’t compare them with any other band. You simply can’t. From the first time I heard their music, I was mesmerized. I still am. I am never tired of hearing them and they do hit your soul.
This band is awesome!!! they are also very personable which is even better…i can’t wait until they come to Canada!!!
They are truely awesome. I’m partial. I’ve heard a lot of bands in my life born in 1958. This band has true talent and a real voice. Nothing in the last 10 years has hit me as hard as this band.
I’m just kickin back with some LDH. Nothing better on a Sunday than some Slovenian rock.
