Album Stream: Tread – 'Rise From Silence'

Tread is:

Cail Baroni (Vocals)
Tim Burns (Rhythm Guitar)
Steve Christo (Lead Guitar)
Cam Wilkins (Bass)
Adam Swoboda (Drums)

From the ground up TREAD is a real band – no gimmicks. The band’s attack and tone pay tribute to rock and metal roots, while the songwriting perpetuates forward in hook riddled melodies begging for the masses.

These guys demanded the audience’s attention…” – FasterLouder

The Melbourne based five piece are shaking rooms with their current live campaign, blowing away audiences and growing their loyal fan base with every show. A proudly independent force, TREAD’s respect for their growing family is instantly recognizable at any live show… between the stage and floor an almost tangible energy is felt the instant the band step out.

Fusing heavy riffs, gripping dynamics and manic vocal melodies flipping from pitch perfect falsetto to primal scream in a heartbeat, TREAD have forged themselves a signature sound nothing short of colossal in magnitude.

Tread have a huge, heavy and melodic sound that really is quite something to behold…” – Beat Magazine

Burns, Wilkins and Swoboda form TREAD’s commanding rhythm section – a muscle-laden force built from raw energy. Christo’s solos weave through the punchy soundscape exuding not only speed and precision but thoughtful melody. Front man Cail Baroni’s majestic vocals resonate through rhythmic phrasing and harmonies; his vocals carrying the same sheer honesty and purity his lyrics convey… only to be juxtaposed tonally by the brutality of his scream.

In 2009 TREAD released their debut album ‘Rise From Silence’, recorded at Lighthill Sound Studios with producer Ricki Rae.

Rise From Silence really has been well worth the wait…” – Beat Magazine

Whoa!!! Hell Ya!!! Tread is awesome. I like the vocal style from all out Blood spitting to melodic in the same song. The band sounds very tight as well. I would like to see these guys live!

  22. djwvu says:

  24. jambone says:

    i’m really diggin this band

  25. TH\'NEWBLACK says:

Vocalist sounds like Howard Jones when he screams, but much different when he sings. When he sings he reminds me of the singer of Karnivool. So Karnivool I like, and KSE, I love. So I guess I must really like this.

  26. TH\'NEWBLACK says:

And in the beginning of surrender he sounds like David Draiman of DISTURBED.

  27. eliastavarez says:

Does everyone hear know each other??? lol.

  28. TH\'NEWBLACK says:

  32. eliastavarez says:

    XD you guys are cool!

  33. TH\'NEWBLACK says:

Thanks Elias. Any relation to Patrik Elias of the New Jersey Devils..ha?

  34. flyfreak says:

F’n Patrick Elias hasn’t played this year and I’m sure his first game back will be against the Flyers and he will probably have the hat trick or game winning goal….That bastard.

  35. TH\'NEWBLACK says:

lol…I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess that you’re from the Philly area?

  36. asoapdish says:

Good stuff! Daledo showed me some of this shiznet…. I am never gonna say that word again. O_O
hahaha fly its ok buddy he rubs my pelt all the time… Oh FACE! As he would say it. “Its like throwing a hotdog down a hallway.” ….Not much of a pitcher….
