Mudvayne is my favorite band, but for some reason, as a whole, this song on first listen isn’t doing it for me. The guitar solo is better than any on The New Game, and I love the 15 second scream. Maybe it’ll grow on me.

  2. flyfreak says:

I like the old school vibe this one is throwing off.

  3. Omar says:

    This song is shit.

  4. flyfreak says:

Omar, you wouldn’t know shit if it came out your ass.

  5. stalechips2 says:

You don’t like anything by them, so why would you open up news about them or take the time to listen to the song, so you can make a shit comment like that? Shouldn’t you be over at blabbermouth or something?

  6. Omar says:

I do like a lot of their songs, why would you say I dont like anything from them?

    The song is terrible. Period.

  7. stalechips2 says:

“Mudvayne are the definition of a band that makes 3 great radio tracks per album and fills the rest of it with crap.” -Omar

So basically if it isn’t a single you’ll think it’s shit

  8. Omar says:

Not true, I like some of their album cuts. But for the most part I stand by my opinion, it seems like they try really hard for 3-4 songs and the rest of them they say fuck it and come up with crap.
Where did I say I didn’t like them?

  9. stalechips2 says:

Ok sorry, you like some of their stuff. We’re all entitled to our own opinions. For me, most of the time, my favorites are the ones that don’t see air time. But based on your quote you’d say about 75% of their songs are crap, so you can see where I thought you didn’t like them

  10. Omar says:

Well I like their singles A LOT, enough for me to see I like them.

  11. TC1979 says:

Really only liking parts of it so far, but I’m betting it will grow on me.

  12. samanthavega says:

Not as good as “Scream”. That song is going to do it for them.

  13. Mike says:

I don’t know about you guys but other than the singles on ‘Lost And Found’ I don’t like one Mudvayne song.

  14. TH'NEWBLACK says:

Then mike, there is something severely wrong about that. “Death Blooms”, “Not Falling”, “World So Cold”, “Dig”, “Everything & Nothing”, “Prod”, “Scarlett Letters”, “Have It Your Way”, and “Do What You Do”. Check those out!

  15. flyfreak says:

Mike, how can you have time to post when you need to prepare for the pasta eating contest against your grandfather.

  16. asoapdish says:

    hahahaha I don’t get it.
LD 5.0 is reason enough why Mudvayne is brilliant, one of my favourite albums to date. This song is not the greatest but anything they do I find to be at the least good.

  17. TH'NEWBLACK says:

Yeah, much slower but it’s a grower…ha. It’ll grow on me just like “Do What You Do” did.

  18. flyfreak says:

I’ll be honest with you. Anything Mudvayne does I must like.

  19. TH'NEWBLACK says:

I will instantly agree with you.

  20. Sick_Inside says:

“Omar, you wouldn’t know s**t if it came out your ass.”

I just fell out of my seat with laughter. You should seriously write movies, dude. But, I agree wit TNB and freak, if it’s Mudvayne and I don’t like it, it doesn’t exist.

  21. Lara says:

I’ve heard better, but this one isn’t too bad

  22. TH'NEWBLACK says:

Not to start any fights, but I love this band so much…I’ll take any one Mudvayne song live over and Creed album. Hands down.

  23. Heather says:

no shit right? i second that TNB, also you forgot “Fall Into Sleep” which is a great song. Mudvayne kix ass, i dont know about the brilliant statement…i’d save that status for Tool’s Maynard or Slipknots Corey Taylor. But i know Mudvayne is capable of great things, they are a solid band IMO. some of their songs are better than others, but how is that diff from any other band?

    • THNEWBLACK says:

Agreed, except I’ve seen slipknot twice, and I tell you Chad Gray is ten times the live vocalist that Corey Taylor is. No argument about Maynard, he’s incredible. But mudvayne is a much more involved, emotionally driven show than slipknot. Slipknot is a lot of flash but I can never get so into their shows. I would definitely add David Draiman to that list of outstanding vocalists.

    • THNEWBLACK says:

Also fall into sleep was off of lost and found, that’s why I didn’t name it.

  24. Brady says:

lol everyone says this song sux its all i here its not its actually a good song so is dig, silenced, happy, not falling, scream with me,world so cold. But u got people that argue over bands like slipknot and mudvayne.mudvayne was aprt of slipknow befor the split to do there owne thing.so how r they any differnt. they r in one so we can get past us the creed thing they have been dead scinc overcome with had a 2 or 4 year absence mudvayen has not fell off the map yet. besides mudvayne and slipknot r th 2 best bands in my opinion

  25. THNEWBLACK says:

Wasn’t my favourite off the album, but I agree it’s not a bad song at all.
