I don’t like it as much as I hoped I would. His vocal style has changed. Sounds a bit like his solo project. Still better than killer and the star but not as good as the past material.

This is going to be like having a one night stand with Heather.

This is awesome! Its been four-five years since their last release so i think its okay that he sort of changed his style and i really like it.

  4. vetexx says:

I really like it! Yeah! The return!

  5. cold says:

    Pretty good musics….

  6. Omar says:

I like the song, but like TC1979 mentioned I hope Scooter didnt change his vocal style that much. My hopes are still high.

  7. Alex says:

Sounds pretty solid.. did anyone else get reminded of “Again” by Flyleaf because of the guitar effects throughout the song? lol I’m pretty sure they used the same Pro Tools plug-in

  8. Lucas says:

It’s different than I expected I guess. Sounds like he’s changed his vocal style a little bit. Not sure I like it that much honestly. Could be a grower, though.

  9. kyle1020 says:

yeah on initial listen I’m not too impressed but maybe with a couple more spins, it will grow on me.

  10. Nate W. says:

yeah im not blown away but its not bad. this isn’t the first single though so i’ll have to see what thats like

  11. musicislife1408 says:

i don’t think terry is recording with them anymore because if you go on their myspace his name is removed and there are two new other guitar players, that explains why the song sounds a bit different than normal cold, but i still like it, it just has to grow on me some more.

  12. spragg101 says:

Fuck yes, I am so happy this band is back. Not many bands can kick ass like these guys

  13. lilmisssassy says:

    i adore it :)

  14. germaine93 says:

is that for sure the same lead singer?? doesnt sound like what i remember

  15. germaine93 says:

ah yes. after relistening to the older stuff you can hear a differience but still similiar. you guys are right, is he just singing different?

  16. Tom says:

Ok song .. they need Terry and Kelly for that true COLD sound. Sounds like it could have been on “A Different Kind of Pain”

  17. flyfreak says:

Tom, ADKOP is one of my top 10 albums of all-time. So whoever was on that album needs to continue on this new one.

  18. TH\'NEWBLACK says:

I agree with fly. Not one of my all-time favourites, but their last outing was their best imo. I like this song. It’s got very attractive vocal harmonies.

  19. TH\'NEWBLACK says:

I’m also liking how the drums are sounding too

  20. Corey says:

I don’t even really notice the vast change in vocal style you guys are describing. Yeah, he sounds like he’s following a different tune, but it’s nothing more experimental than what they did on ADKOP. Remember “Tell Me Why”? Sounded like he was pushing the limits in that song. That’s why it sucked so bad. Anyway, I’ve got high hopes for Cold. It’s good to know that at least one band I used to love hasn’t sold their souls to get more record sales.

still more a fan of 13 ways, the red album and year of the spider… ADKOP lost me, all the songs sound the same. they lost those delay and chorus soaked guitars. Lookign forward to this album though .. hopefully the singles will be better, its growin on me.
