I hope more tour dates come out of this. Being that it is not only a grouping of huge bands, they are already setting up dates for April and such.

This will bring in some money.

What? Breaking Benjamin on a major ticket without Three Days Grace? Wow, that’s a first! (And about time…)

And yes, this will bring in some definite money. Probably $40 for a tic, and I’m sure from what I’ve seen at the big venues lately, a minimum of $9 for beer. That shouldn’t be legal.

I’m still hoping for some BB headlining dates in the southeast *crosses fingers*

Hoping for dates in Denver.

Yeah, that would be great. Still one of the best club shows I’ve ever seen was Evans Blue and Breaking Benjamin. That was in 2006. They’re probably too big to play the small venues anymore, but who knows…

I totally agree with you on the Three Days Grace thing, Demonizer. They did 3 different legs of that tour, I think. We get it, you’re all good friends but it’s definitely about time they move on. Definitely not “a first”, though.

Thanks to Nickelback tickets to this will probably be way too expensive. Ah well, we’ll see…

well that eliminates shinedown and breaking benjamin from earthday birthday

this needs to tour the whole US, gotta come west coast….please…

hmmm BB playing in canada? that’s unusual

I was thinking the same thing harty.

YES!! I’ve been waiting for Ben to come back to Toronto for 4 f*cking years! And I’ve never seen Nickelback and have only seen Shinedown once so this is gonna be awesome!

shinedown must be doing their own orlando show or something theres no way theyd skip over orlando. its just as much hometown for them as jax is

anyone know how this will affect the skillet, puddle of mudd, shinedown tour?

SWEET! in my eyes, any of these bands could headline, but its obvious Nickelback will be the ones to do it. i hope there will be another venue in florida that shinedown appears in w/ the other two. harty’s probably right, i imagine they’ll be doing their own thing in orlando, but i definitely want to see all 3 of these bands at once instead of buying 2 separate concert tickets to do so.

I’m guessing since this tour is in the spring, the POM and Skillet tour w/Shinedown will probably not go past late February. Shinedown are putting in their miles lately…

OK, I just noticed the asterisk of the dates where Shinedown is not included. Anyone have any news on if someone will play in their place, or will Nickelback and BB be the only two main acts?

I found out why Shinedown isn’t playing on those dates asterisked above. They’re going on a Carnival Cruise ship to play w/Three Doors Down from April 15th to the 19th. It’s the VH1 Best Cruise Ever for anyone who wants more info.

Oh god no, why the HELL is Breaking Benjamin touring with Nickelback? Breaking Benjamin > Nickelback

I guess Burnley decided he wanted to open for Nickelback instead of Alice In Chains.

If it was a choice, he made the right one. Don’t get me wrong, Nickelback aren’t even in the same class a AIC when it comes to great music, but here in Toronto, he’ll be playing for around 8,000 people opening for Nickelback instead of around 600 for AIC. More exposure to a Canadian crowd = better chance for more Canadian shows = a very happy me.

I would take TDG over Nickelback anyday. If they come to Vancouver, BC I will be there. But I really dispise Nickelback. No Talent airheaded lead singer is why. He lives in my town, and he’s every bit as big of a jackass as he looks.

I will be there because of Brekaing Benjamin and Shinedown.

I’m sick of these tours that are carbon copies of each other. like people said it took them forever to break off from 3 days grace. I’ve seen Nickelback 4 times already and BB and Shinedown a couple. With them opening for Nickelback you know exactly what songs you’re going to hear, every radio hit they’ve had through the years that you’re tired of. BB and Shinedown need to be seen as headliners not openers

agreed 100% wickedgame. actually i think all band should headline… it makes their shows so much better when the whole crowd is there to see them

GOD DO I HATE NICKELBACK!!!! They ruin everything! Good job for BB they will start to get some main stream play alot more now but lets all pray that they do not turn into a Nickelback! They will make some money off this tour and lets face it thats why everyone works.Bands make music to make money. Smart move on their part but come on! Nickelback??? Really??? Sad day for BB fans….

Shinedown deserves better than this.

I want more Puddle of Mudd!!!!

Idk i think opening on a Nickelback tour is a pretty desired spot for most bands, even Shinedown. I was talking to them after their show a couple months ago and Brent Smith mentioned a chance to tour with Nickelback, and he seemed to like the idea.

Luke you’ve met Shinedown? What’s your impression of Brent? I saw them put on a killer show then got autographs after their set and Brent clearly acted like he didn’t want to be there and that it was only because of obligation. Very disappointed seeing as how I think he’s one of the best modern rock singers

Every show I’ve seen them at, is upward of like 8, all of the guys are outside afterwards, signing autographs and meeting fans. I know they’ve changed managers and and production people but that still remains. I saw them in Las Vegas, they must have been outside after the show for at least an hour and a half talking to fans.

Definitely Hoping for a Denver show, Last time BB was here was Awesome. Come to Denver guys!
