Fall Of Envy (FOE) is on the verge of breaking into the mainstream rock music scene having performed at prestigious events like the Florida Music Festival and WJRR’s Earthday Birthday, as well as major venues such as the House of Blues, Hard Rock Live, and the St. Pete Times Forum. This five-piece, melodic hard rock band hails from Orlando, Florida and has supported national acts such as Sevendust, Chevelle, Nonpoint, Papa Roach, The Exies, Buckcherry, Daughtry, Black Tide and Stereoside.
The band recently released their first, full-length album titled Poetic Rage, which was recorded and produced by Justin Thomas, producer of Dark New Day (Warner Bros), Alter Bridge’s acoustic tracks (Wind Up), Faktion (Road Runner), and Stereoside (Beiler Bros).
Recently, Fall Of Envy was named the official band of the XFC (Xtreme Fighting Championship). Their track, “For You,” was chosen to be the theme song for the XFC’s nationally televised MMA series, scheduled to premiere in the spring of 2009, with exposure to roughly 80,000,000 TV viewers. The band has also licensed additional tracks to Channel One, the pre-eminent media source for over 6 million teens in middle schools and high schools across the country.

Oldie but a goodie.
Wow! This is really old…..but oh so good.
not bad stuff. Something about how overly into the song the lead guy is kinda rubs me the wrong way. I like that he’s passionate, but his expressions are a bit overkill.
good music though. On the chorus specifically the echoed vocals, are those the guy repeating himself or is someone off screen repeating
here’s my more in depth thoughts:
track 1: good opener.
Track 2: Eh, not so much
Track 3: same thing as track 2. these 2 tracks feel like recycled concepts in rock to me.
Track 4: not sure how i feel about the high notes, like the chorus, digging the guitar solo. bit too angsty though. but still solid
Track 5: digging the riffs and the vocal effect on the first part of the 1st verse.
Track 6: nice piano work, but seems out of place after 2 fairly heavy tracks; would’ve been better if track 4 and 5were switched in order with 2 and 3 and then the piano came in. good stuff though
Track 7: pretty solid. chorus seems too short though the first time through. Not digging the right channel exclusive vocals on the bridge though.
Track 8:really digging the intro. the chorus is kinda of mediocre though. and that line “my one and only soul” is a bit cheesy
Track 9: I like it. probably one of the stronger tracks on the album.
Track 10: Not too bad. It’s solid, i feel like the lyrics could be better though.
Track 11: the start of this track seems too sudden. IT’s a solid track, but nothing grabs me about it. Also, saying “go” in between the chorus and 2nd verse takes away from the song and is plain stupid unless its part of the words.
overall: I like it, but nothing blows me out of the water about it. Solid “B”
Also, if Channel 1 is so pre-eminent and there has to be at least 15 minutes of it in each class day, how come i never saw it at all? is it only a public school thing?
i was wondering why i knew the name. theyve been playing in orlando for ever.
This band is awesome.
Still waiting for the “Solace” video…
Hey Enga, you told me about these guys. Good call, again.
Im getting so tired of these bands, their “want to sound intelligent but just outright tired” band names, and their sound just sounds uninspired. But if your a fan of shirtless dudes, go for it.
rockett, I know what you’re saying. Most of these bands will fade into oblivion, but some of them are worth a spot in the iPod and this band is one of them.
Yeah, that’s right, man. Glad you like them.
Btw, did you get Volbeat song I sent you?
didn’t they get a new singer?
I really like this album, and to answer a question Channel one is a news program they air at the start of class in public Schools, I used to see it in middle school.
It’s ok. I like the music. Don’t care for the old scholl vocals. That growl thing has to go.
One James is enough.
I didn’t know Channel One was still in existence.
