Major Props. I hope the new album is like “Blue Sky Research”.

    Last album was better :)

    Gift was way better

Last album had a few good songs, not enough to get me excited for this album though. Hopefully it’s on the level of “Blue Sky Research”

Good news! Always have love for the hometown boys.

  6. nate says:

also really liked Blue Sky Research and was disappointed with the last album. i got the feeling they were going to hang it up after their last sub-par effort, so surprised to see this news

Neither can top Gift…I lived by that cd when it came out!

  8. pen says:

I loved Our Long Road Home, lots of good cuts on that.

  9. Blaine says:

I seriously don’t think there is a bad song on our long road home, probably my favorite album by them to be honest, im soooo excited for the new album to come out

Welcome ang Gift were nice albums, then Blue Sky Research was disappointment for me…and with Our long road home it looks like things are back in old times and energy´s back :o

Im going with Serja on this one – first two albums (Gift/Welcome) were very good, they were very unique sounding at the time: the heavily layered vox, screaming/melodic verses, etc. Blue Sky Research had 2-3 okay tracks, but was kind of dead when it was released. Last album just seemed generic and outdated.

I think its awesome they signed to another major label!! The last album was great

very cool, have liked this band from their start. i can honestly say that one of the things i have always liked about this band is that all their albums are equally as good. if i had to pick a favorite it would be gift and blue sky. but not for any reason other than i have listened to them the most.

  14. pen says:

Gift was their worst album. Cookie-cutter nu-metal riffage and cliche, their albums since have been much better.

  15. rockett, I couldn’t have said it any better…

  16. pen says:

    Gift was their worst album.

Relic my good man, victory is an Indy label and not a major. Badass Paul booth avitar though mate.

  18. zach says:

in your opinion pen. haha, but yeah gift was good. in your opinion it was their worst. in a lot of opinions, it was pretty good. so technically speaking, there is probably not a “worst” album to be chosen by just one person. but pen, you were right about long road home, it does have a lot of good stuff on there.

  19. relic says:

actually I had no idea…my whole life I thought it was a major label…lmao

But whatever its still better than being independent

  20. Nightmare says:

First of all, Gift had some pretty good songs and it was their first album, so you can’t knock it that hard (especially because it led to the amazing ‘Welcome’ album). Also, I agree that ‘Blue Sky Research’ had 3-4 good songs. ‘Long Road Home’ had a few good songs and good energy, but it seems like they could have done more for that album. Either way, I look forward to the new stuff and glad they have a label too.

I’m not a huge fan of these guys, but I do have a couple albums and enjoy their music. But, I did like their last two efforts, and hope they release another song like “Calling”. That is my fave from them.
