Pearl Jam front-man Eddie Vedder has been sued for altering the lyrics of the track “Hard Sun”. The track, written by Gordon Peterson, was featured on the ‘Into the Wild‘ soundtrack. Black Label Society will enter the studio in January to begin work on their new album. The disc will be the first since the band’s departure from Roadrunner Records and is expected to be released in June.

Avenged Sevenfold drummer James “The Rev” Sullivan was found dead at his home in Huntington Beach, CA yesterday, December 28th. Authorities say Sullivan’s death appeared to be of natural causes.

Two tracks, “Trash Day” and “She Likes Hair Bands”, from Butch Walker’s new record can be streamed at this location. ‘I Liked it Better When You Had No Heart‘ is due out on February 23rd.

Soul Embraced has announced the addition of guitarist Ed Collins to their line-up. Collins replaces Devin Castle who left the band in June.
