those are ridiculously stupid numbers, wow

ATRR is so much better than the latest album imo.Easily the bands best album by far.

  7. Nightmare says:

AltRockMan, I couldn’t agree more. Dark Horse was crap.

And in the age of downloading this may be the last album to reach 8 million, I wonder how this would have sold if it were released before downloading was a problem at all? And what kind of numbers did The Long Road do?

  9. Chris says:

‘The Long Road’ was certified 3x Platinum in 2005

  10. Hunter says:

Long Road is probably my favorite album by them.

Nickelback is awesome and they deserve it. I like ATRR the best too. Long Road 2nd, Dark Horse 3rd, and the rest are ok except the first which was ghastly. (Yes, pen, I know you like the first. I listened to it several times and it still is pretty bad.)

I learned how to play guitar to The Long Road, and saw them for the first time during that tour in 2004. So to me, I’m extremely partial to that album (it’s actually one of my overall faves). I’d rank their albums like this: 1) The Long Road 2) All the Right Reasons 3) Dark Horse 4) Silver Side Up 5) The State 6) Curb.

“Savin’ Me” is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard from these guys. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

Savin’ Me is also my favorite song from them.
