That’s a nice looking line-up. I would really love to travel to this festival but I always have either obligations or I’m too poor.

  2. Sevendust > All. Apocalyptica is a cool add.

  3. chris7 says:

three days grace, Papa roach? That alone is worth going…

  4. Jesse says:

I’m really not impressed. The first RotR lineup was incredible. This is probably second but I’m not going.

  5. pen says:

How could you not be impressed? That’s practically every notable band on rock radio today. Only ones not there that I can see that are notable are Linkin Park, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, AIC, and Creed. Whatever, it’s still a fantastic slice of rock from all across the board.

  6. serja says:

    OH MY GOD…Im building a plane! :O

  7. Bleedmusic says:

I’m not impressed but thats because I don’t really like many hard rock bands anymore. I do like Killswitch Engage, Seether, 3DG, and Cold so yeah, if this was in St.Louis I would def. go but I still wouldn’t be impressed and all that excited.

Add 10 Years, Chevelle, and Flyleaf and then I’m super excited though.

thats like 1 or 2 good bands i havent seen yet away from taking leave for

  9. harty3113 says:

and see what i mean byt sevendust doesnt get much respect still? theyre below puddle of mudd and theory of a deadman

  10. chiefdkp says:

Sevendust has a lot of fans here in Ohio, but in comparison to POM and ToaD they don’t get much radio play…and they haven’t been touring as much. From a marketing view ToaD and POM will sell more tickets

  12. Facebook User says:

Nonpoint linked this on their Facebook.

Think this will be an amazing show, too bad Breaking Ben isn’t playing but.. Theory of a Deadman, Rob Zombie,Godsmack Seether Adelitas Way! I am so there!

  14. Jesse LuBera says:

Pen; the only bands I even remotely like out of that list are; Seether, Slash, Drowning Pool, Godsmack, Sevendust, Cold. There are a bunch there that I could listen to but never really enjoy, and the remainder just suck.

I guess I was just hoping for all of the bands you mentioned. I’m sad that there’s not one Grunge band there. I was really hoping for a few. STP, AIC, Candlebox, Pearl Jam, and most importantly, SOUNDGARDEN. I was really hoping for them.

Revis, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Sick Puppies, Alter Bridge/ Creed and Eye Empire. Understandably, some of these aren’t on tour right now. But those are the names I look for when I see an awesome huge show like this.

  15. pen says:

I don’t see how any of these bands suck. All of them are pretty awesome.

  16. jman3000 says:

Wow, this lineup is definitely more metal-influenced this year. I’m really liking it though. Some notable bands that I would’ve liked to have seen that are touring right now are Main and Second Stages – Thousand Foot Krutch, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Creed/Alter Bridge, Fear Factory!!, Soil, Soundgarden, STP, Metallica, Megadeth, Powerman 5000. Other Stage – Taking Dawn, Decyfer Down, The Letter Black, Eye Empire, Digital Summer, Craving Lucy, Black Sunshine, Fireflight, Disonic, Lynam, Blackwater Rising, Destrophy, Echoes the Fall, LastDayHere, Plan Three, Blowsight. However, I’m happy to see Sevendust, Bullet For My Valentine, Five Finger Death Punch, Skillet, Godsmack, and Airbourne on the bill. Seriously, Sevendust owns all of the bands that it is listed with. They need to be at least on the second row. I’ll probably be there again this year depending on some circumstances. Great news!!

  17. Chris says:

One thing I noticed, the radio promo says 38 bands, I only count 37…. perhaps the details for Soundgarden weren’t worked out by announce time?

Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking. Surprised Creed isn’t in the lineup.

  18. scionchick says:

This is an awesome lineup! Too bad I don’t live closer to Ohio. My friend lives in Canton, OH I wonder how far away it is to Columbus maybe I can crash at her place. I have always wanted to go to the Rock on the Range maybe I’ll make it this year.

  19. jamie lowe says:

good to see Sevendust, Nonpoint, Deftones, Bullet For My Valentine and Papa Roach

  20. lens says:

I noticed the 38 band promo as well, chris. Last year they did something similar bc they had a few bands to announce later. Hopefully this will be the same.

  21. Tim Hildreth says:

They also said it was to be the biggest ROTR yet. Last year there were 38 bands, so maybe 2 more will be announced.
