  1. It’s now time for Hinder to put up or shut up. Brian Howes has already proven to be a fluke in the hard rock radio game. (see lackluster sales from his work with rev theory and puddle of midd). The band also realized you can’t fool the American buying cd consumer. “extreme bahavior 2″ I mean Pedal to the Metal didn’t work. 2M to less than 500k sold is ugly. So what does hinder have now that nu-ballad hard rock is not the ticket?

The answer is that Hinder got way too big way to fast. Now they are stuck in a Valley with a
small chance of even selling 350k next time around.

  2. They already shown what they are made up by bringing a much better album out with their sophomore effort.

When did CD sales start telling you what music is good?

  3. Hinder are a great band and yes the fact the our very own sonic God (Benson) is producing surely means its going to be their best work yet.

The guy is a genius when it comes to the studio and I have many many albums that he has been at the helm all of which fail to disappoint.

Without doubt,my most eagerly awaited new album of the year.

  4. Hinder, Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, Default…gimme something new and not country rock, ballad crap. Only thing good about this album is that Howard Benson is producing it. I like him.

      • I’m from out on the west coast where nearly all of those bands are from. That’s what we designated the name to. But I’m not knocking the bands, or their talent, or their fans. I’m just getting bored of hearing all the same style over and over again. And it’s mostly new bands that mimic the same style as these bands that are to blame.

        • you know that 3 of them are from Vancouver… not to say that isn’t the west coast but… normally that means LA. and both theory and default were found by kroeger right? i mean no wonder they sound the same. hinder drifted more to buckcherry/wanna-be 80s hair metal on their last album, i think it was a good move to (ever so slightly) separate themselves from the nickelback/creed sound.

          • I can agree with the new age 80′s hair metal thing that some bands drift to being good. (Atreyu – Lead Sails Paper Anchor), but I don’t think they sound quite different enough to distinguish themselves from the others. But if their new album is a littel different yet, than I might like it. But if it’s the same thing as their first album, then it will just fall into that category.
