On October 5, 2010 Wind-up Records will release Finger Eleven’s 5th studio album, Life Turns Electric. The 10-track album was recorded in New York at Wind-up Studios this past summer. Life Turns Electric was produced by James Black and Rick Jackett, who also co-wrote all the songs on the album with the other band members. The first single “Living in a Dream” is playing now on Alternative and Rock radio stations across the United States and Canada.

Life Turns Electric is the follow up to 2007’s Them vs. You vs. Me. The album was certified Gold by the R.I.A.A. and featured the hit single “Paralyzer”, which sold well over 2 million copies. The band’s 2003 self titled release also went gold, largely fueled by the massive hit “One Thing”.

Some good songs, but I still prefer their self-titled over this by a mile.

I prefer the older material best, like The Greyest of Blue Skies
