In an interview with localbozo.com (listen here), Dark New Day frontman Brett Hestla indicates that over the summer or later this year we may see a Dark New Day tour, although it may depend on the success of the first single from the upcoming release ‘New Tradition’. I actually conducted an interview yesterday with bassist Corey Lowery (will be posted next week), and he indicated there was a chance of a one-off reunion show, but certainly didn’t seem to indicate he was aware of any talks of a tour. This is doubtful. Clint Lowery has stated Sevendust is his main priority. Sevendust is going into the studio to start writing this June, so a DnD tour is unlikely. Also Corey Lowery seems to be doing quite well with his new band, Eye Empire. Who knows though..
This would be awesome if it happened. However, I think that at best they would play 5 shows given where the Lowery brothers are at as well as the rest of DND with their other bands.
http://rock-nb.com/interviews/brett-hestla-from-dark-new-day/ Brett told us the same thing. I hope it happens!
