Burn Season To Release "Elektra" Album

Burn Season will release the album they originally recorded for Elektra Records in January with four new tracks. The as-yet-untitled Bob Marlette (Seether, Shinedown) produced album was shelved when the band was dropped from Elektra shortly after signing in 2001.

Front-man Damien Starkey, who has joined Puddle of Mudd as their bassist, and Brad Stewart (Fuel) have been working on new music with Society Red which will be released in the coming months.

Shinedown Plan 'The Sound Of Madness' CD/DVD

Shinedown will release a CD/DVD deluxe edition of ‘The Sound of Madness‘ on November 23rd. In addition to the original eleven tracks, the new version features nine bonus tracks including a version of “Breaking Inside” with guest vocals from Halestorm front-woman Lizzy Hale. The DVD portion includes music videos from ‘The Sound of Madness‘ plus the five live videos from their ‘The Sight of Madness‘ iTunes release. Click here for track listing.

Shinedown to Embark on "Anything & Everything" Acoustic Tour

Shinedown has announced “Anything & Everything – An Acoustic Evening with Shinedown,” which kicks off on November 4th in Tampa, Florida, and continues through December 9th in New Orleans. “Anything & Everything” marks the first acoustic tour for Shinedown, and, in addition to being an intimate evening of music, will include insight into the songs themselves. The band plans on speaking candidly with the audience about the stories behind the songs and where they came from, and to even field some questions from the audience themselves.
