Alter Bridge will release their new album ‘AB III‘ on October 11th in Europe via Roadrunner. An announcement regarding the North American release of the album will be made in the coming weeks.

According to Billboard, Alter Bridge have signed on with Roadrunner Records for the release of their third studio album. The as-yet-untitled album is scheduled for a September release with a supporting tour with Godsmack planned for March.

Slash will begin a North American tour in support of his self-titled solo debut in August, click here for dates.

The second single from the album, “Back from Cali”, features guest vocals from Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy and will be released to radio in July.

Alter Bridge have begun mixing their third album with Brian Sperber, who also mixed 2007’s ‘Blackbird‘. The disc is expected to arrive in stores in September.

Alter Bridge have completed the recording of their third studio album with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette. Mixing is set to begin in mid-April with a release planned for September. A European tour is currently in the works for October.

Slash has confirmed the band lineup for his upcoming tour in support of his self-titled solo release. Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy will front the band with Slash and Bobby Schneck (Aerosmith, Green Day) on guitar, bassist Dave Henning and drummer Brent Fitz (Theory of a Deadman, Alice Cooper). Dates for the trek will be confirmed shortly.

Alter Bridge front-man Myles Kennedy will front Slash’s solo band when they hit the road later in the year. Full band line-up will be revealed shortly.

Slash’s self-titled solo effort features guest vocals from Kennedy on the track “Starlight”. The disc drops on April 6th.

Alter Bridge will be working with Michael “Elvis” Baskette when they begin recording their new album in February. Baskette also produced the band’s 2007 release ‘Blackbird‘ which has sold more than 200,000 copies to date.
