TuneLab Radio Services
What it Is:
TuneLab Radio Services is a service for providing relevant content to rock radio stations. We provide custom news feeds based on your particular station’s sub-genre or even detailed down to the playlist. We also provide daily on-air news briefs usually of about 60 seconds that cover the top stories for that day. Often called “rock reports” or a “rock minute,” these daily briefs are customized for the station to include the station’s call letters and branding.
Why:
Radio stations want to drive traffic to their websites, and giving them up-to-the-minute news on their favorite artists is the best way to get people there. It also provides a one-stop-shop for DJs when they’re doing their show prep… no more wasting time crawling all over the web. For the news brief, it simply does it for you. There’s no need to find what to say, record it, produce it, etc.
How:
We have a multitude of ways to implement a news feed on your website, all of which are one-time setups that once set up won’t require any changes or maintenance. It can be as simple as displaying an RSS feed with light styling, or as complex as actually taking the content and placing it into software that will allow your listeners to add comments, share links, and interact with the content on the website. For the news brief, it can be once a day, or as many as three times a day depending on your needs. Delivery can be via email, FTP, online download, or whatever other means you would prefer.
Cost:
We have a variety of options where the fees may vary, but TuneLab Radio Services is FREE at its basic level, which is the customized news feed as well as once-daily news briefs. For even our most advanced setups, you’ll find the costs to be well below what you likely already pay for much less. Why pay some huge corporation for three news articles about bands that your listeners don’t even care about?
